The work includes the installation of a low pressure sanitary sewer (LPSS) collection system consisting in part of 650 LF 1.5" Sch 40 PVC pipe, 6 each 1.5" lateral kit connections, 1 four feet diameter manhole and 1 existing manhole connection. Time allowed for the completion of the project is 270 consecutive calendar days. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. The bidder must supply the telephone and e-mail address along with street address of the individual or firm to whom addenda (if any) can be directed. A bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond for a sum not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid will be required with the bid. The OWNER reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the bids. No BIDDER may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the bid opening. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order Nos., 11246 and 11375, which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
