Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a 10-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This Project Includes the Partial Demolition of an Existing Pump House, the Salvage of Some Mechanical Equipment and Stone Veneer, and the Elevation of the Existing Pump House Walls and Base Slab. The Intent is to Salvage as Much of the Existing Mechanical Equipment as Possible; However, It is Anticipated That All of the Existing Electrical Equipment is Not Salvageable and Will Require Disposal. Some Site Work Will Also Be Necessary. Each Bidder Must Deposit With His Bid, Security in the Amount, Form and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Section 102 of the Standard Specifications. All Bidders Must Be Licensed Under the Terms of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, Including Subsequent Amendments. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within 60 Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Hereof. Question Deadline 02/20/2026 No formal interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents will be made to any BIDDER orally. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION for the CITY OF FORT SMITH, ARKANSAS, and to be given consideration must be received at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
