Renovation of a fire / police facility in Tualatin, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,000-square-foot fire / police facility.
The project consists of removal and replacement of approximately 11,000 square feet of existing roof material, including removal and replacement of perimeter base flashings and associated sheet metal flashings; removal and replacement of any defective decking, as required; elevating existing curb mounted, Air Handling Units (AHUs) to achieve minimum roof flashing heights; disconnection and reconnection of existing utilities associated with AHU modifications; bring roof insulation up to current code; and other incidental work as identified in the Contract Documents and Bid Set. The Contractor shall begin work within 30 calendar days of receiving the Notice to Proceed. Substantial Completion of all work must be achieved by May 31, 2026, and Final Completion by June 30, 2026. Proposals must include a signed Proposal Form and a Bid Security in the form of either a proposal bond or certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The bid must indicate whether the contractor is a resident contractor, as defined in ORS 279A.120. The City of Tualatin reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so. Bids cannot be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the Bid Closing. The City reserves the right to make changes to the Invitation to Bid and the Contract Documents by written addenda prior to the Bid Closing. Addenda shall be made available to all contractors who have joined the plan holders list on the Bid Portal, as provided in the Contract Documents.
