Renovation of a library in Wethersfield, Connecticut. Working plans call for the renovation of a library.
“The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established.” Construction Management at risk services for the Wethersfield Library Renovation Project. The project is being funded primarily through an Urban Act grant in the amount of $1.7 million. This amount includes architecture and design services, Construction Manager services, and all other renovation needs, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The state funded, Urban Act Grant, scope of use for the project primarily includes the Teen Area, entrance space, the Mezzanine, and certain areas of the lower-level of the Library. There are also internal funds that are expected to be used to bridge the carpeting, paint, and lighting needs of spaces not included within the Urban Act funded areas. Questions about this RFQ may be directed, in writing, to the Finance Department, by email to purchasing@wethersfieldct.gov no later than Tuesday August 5, 2025 at 12:00 p.m
