Site work for a mixed-use development in Wethersfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
This invitation to bid is for the Town of Wethersfield to retain a contractor to complete renovation of the Classic Little League Field located in Mill Woods Park at 154 Prospect Street. The project includes complete reconstruction of the field including the infield and all equipment, installation of a new drainage system, water service and irrigation system, planting new trees, and restoration of disturbed lawn areas. The goal of this project is for all sod and other grass areas to sufficiently germinate and take root this fall to allow for use of the field in Spring 2026. The Town of Wethersfield, after review of all factors, including the terms and conditions, qualifications and price, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, or waive defects in the same, or accept any proposal or combination of proposals deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. All bid documents must be completely filled out when submitted. Bids must be firm for a period of NINETY (90) CALENDAR DAYS following the bid opening date. Bid withdrawal may be made only with the consent of the Town of Wethersfield.
