On-Call Sidewalk Construction & Repair Contract The intent of this contract is for the Town of Wethersfield to retain a contractor to complete on-call concrete sidewalk and ramp installation and repair at various locations as part of the annual Sidewalk Programs. The location and extent of work will be identified by the Town throughout the duration of the contract. This contract is for a period of approximately two (2) years; however, the Town may opt to extend the contract into future years with approval of the contractor. The Town reserves the right to award work to additional bidders if needed based on the responsiveness and availability of the low bidder to complete the work in a timely manner. The Town of Wethersfield, after review of all factors, including the terms and conditions, qualifications and price, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, or waive defects in the same, or accept any proposal or combination of proposals deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. All bid documents must be completely filled out when submitted. Bids must be firm for a period of NINETY (90) CALENDAR DAYS following the bid opening date.
