All Shouldering Shall Be Done Using a Shouldering Machine With Grading, Compaction and Sweeping Where Ne Equipment Shall Shall Be Capable of Placing Shouldering Material Without Marring or Damaging the Existing Pavement. Shouldering Shall Progress in the Order Listed Above With Intersections Taking Priority Then Working Down the List to a Pre-determined Budgeted Amount Shouldering on Brown County Line Road Will Require Grading to Remove Existing Shoulder Material That is Causing Ponding on the Road. All Shoulders Shall Be Graded Away From the Asphalt Roadway at a Minimum of 4% and Compacted With a Smoothdrum Roller. A Certificate of Insurance Must Be Included in the Pre-qualification. Payment and Performance Bonds Will Also Be Required. These and All Other Specifications From the Town of Pittsfield Must Be Adhered to.
