Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process. Question Deadline 08/11/2025 at 3:00 PM CT Questions can be delivered via email to: bcpurchasing@browncountywi.gov Scope of Supply The vendor shall be responsible for: o Furnishing one (1) prefabricated open-air shelter with the following characteristics: o Open-gable roof design o Wood Classic design similar to "Wood Classic 8" by Scenic Shelter or equivalent o Overall dimensions include a 24" overhang on all four sides o 2" x 8" western red cedar fascia o 8' eave height o Glulam SYP beams, rafters, and headers suited for roof loads o Glulam Port Orford Cedar columns with metal base shoes & anchor bolts o Factory-applied sealant of commercial-grade UV and water-resistant sealer (to extend the natural appearance and protect the wood from weathering). o Zinc plated fasteners o Powder coated brackets o Galvanized hardware o 24 Gauge Metal Roofing, color by owner o 3:12 roof pitch o Roof decking shall consist of: 2" x 6" nominal #1 SYP single with a V-joint on the bottom face. o Manufactured stone veneer (faux stone or cultured stone) column wrap bases for the four (4) exterior columns of the shelter structure. 27" x 27" with a 28" x 28" limestone cap. The wrap must match the approved shop drawings for shelter design to show wrap height ending point. Color/type by owner. o Shelter must be manufactured off-site, delivered as a complete prefabricated unit or in modular sections. Construction of Pre-Fabricated Open Air Shelter at Pamperin Park, Brown County Project #2762 o Sheter must comply with all applicable state and local building codes and include: Complete manufacturer specifications Stamped structural drawings by a registered engineer licensed in Wisconsin. Complete drawings showing necessary construction details Warranty information to commence on the date of invoice o Construction of Concrete Slab suitable to support the Prefabricated shelter to be included in "Construction Price": o Secure all necessary permits and payment of said permits. o Site preparation - not including demolition (The site is expected to be level; however, some site prep is to be expected) o Installation of suitable stone base o Four inches of concrete with a brushed finish and picture frame finish along the outside perimeter only. o Installation of necessary footings to support the prefabricated shelter o Final site grading to ensure proper drainage and finish o Grass seeding in spring of 2026 to all disturbed areas to restore turf. o Installation to Include: o Four (4) one inch conduits extending from various columns and under the slab foundation to designated utility access points for county installed electrical. Distance of conduit is an average of 100' per. o Two (2) poly water lines for the county installed hose bibs. Distance of water line is an average of 80' per. Cap each end. o Entire shelter, roof, and all necessary finishes to include final wood sealing. o Four (4) faux stone column bases wrapped around the structural posts of the corners. Specifications o Low Pitch Beams o Material and quality assurance: Structural glue laminated timber shall be in conformance with ANSI/AITC Standard A.190.1- (latest edition). Beams shall be stamped with the American Institute for Timber Construction (AITC) product quality mark. Species: Laminating lumber shall be kiln-dried, architectural grade, sealed, and wrapped. o Roof System o The roof system must be designed to withstand 30 PSF live load and 90 MPH wind load. The roof slope shall be 3/12. o Material and quality assurance: Structural glue laminated timber shall be in conformance with ANSI/AITC Standard A.190.1- (latest edition). Beams shall be stamped with the American Institute for Timber Construction (AITC) product quality mark. Species: Laminating lumber shall be kiln-dried, architectural grade, sealed, and wrapped. o Laminated Support Columns o Material and quality assurance: Structural glue laminated timber shall be in conformance with ANSI/AITC A.190.1- (latest edition). Species: Laminating lumber shall be kiln-dried Port Orford Cedar, architectural appearance grade. Laminated columns shall be sized to suit loading requirements. Shall furnish connection steel and hardware for joining structural glue laminated timber members to their supports, exclusive of anchorage and embedment in masonry or concrete to include anchor bolts. o Roof Decking o 2" x 6" (nominal), #1 grade, single tongue and groove with V-joint on bottom face, kiln- dried Southern Yellow Pine, maximum moisture content shall be 19% or less selected for decking, specified lengths, with all joints over supports. o Steel Panel Roofing Material o Steel panel roof system
