Site work and paving for a road / highway in Monroe, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The County of Monroe is accepting proposals for the crack filling, sealing, and striping of asphalt parking lots and drives at our municipal facilities during the 2025 season. The work sites are located both within the City of Monroe and at other County owned properties within Monroe County. The address, location, and approximate size of each site is included on the enclosed Proposal Form. Interested and qualified contractors should review the requirements outlined within this Request for Proposal. Contractors are encouraged to visit each site to gain a full understanding of the scope of work involved, examine conditions that may affect the work, etc. All proposals shall take into consideration all such conditions as may affect the work under this contract. The submittal of a proposal automatically implies that the contractor has examined each site and is completely familiar with the location, scope, and nature of the work and of the equipment and materials needed to complete the project. A contractor's failure to conduct site visits, and to fully understand the scope of work and requirements of the project, will not result in additional claims for compensation from the County and may subject the agreement to termination The County of Monroe reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities, and to make an award that it has determined to be in the best interest of the County. in the event of changes in the RFP, contractors will be notified in writing.
