DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work items in the Base Bid include, but are not necessarily limited to general conditions, mobilization and demobilization, and the following specific items on as indicated on the Drawings: 1. Excavate 3' wide trench on both sides of CMU wall. 2. Remove and replace (5) CMU courses in 10' sections on the west and north elevations. 3. Install new anchor bolts Install new #4 dowel bars. 4. Install grout material at CMU cores around new anchor bolts. 5. Back fill excavated areas adjacent to CMU wall. 6. Overlay existing asphalt pavement to accomplish 6% slope. 7. Install a gutter along the west elevation. 8. Install two downspouts at the north and south corners of the building. 9. Install CMU siding over the top course of CMU. 10. Install waterproofing at the installed CMU courses below pavement level 11. Sawcut and demo existing slab-on-grade on the west and north elevations. 12. Install new slab-on-grade to match existing on the west and north elevations. 13. The work will require the installation of a shoring system to protect the building and facilitate the work.
