The Plains Township Board of Commissioners will receive Bids online for the Plains Township Hudson Road Streetscape Project, generally consisting of the replacement of concrete sidewalks and curbing/ADA ramps along Hudson Road from East Merritt Street to just past Rear Williams Street. Full sidewalk replacement is to be completed on the west side of Hudson Road, partial sidewalk replacement on the east side of Hudson Road and all incidental work related thereto. All construction Work is included in one (1) Prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis with alternate bids as indicated in the Bid Form. Each Bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a (A) "Bid Security" in an amount equal to 10% of Bidder's maximum Bid price to be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders; and (B) all forms, statements, affidavits and certifications, as more particularly listed in Article 7 of each Bid Form. Bidders must be online Prequalified as specified in Section 102.01, of Publication 408. Contractors qualifying as subcontractors may submit bids as a prime contractor, consistent with their qualifications and as specified in section 108.01, Publication 408. A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project.
