**As of September 25, 2025 , This project has been awarded to C.W Matthews Contracting Company for $2,641,193.07..** The proposed construction consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to resurface Pleasant Hill Road from Watson Blvd south to Moody Road. Also included is the addition of a 5 concrete sidewalk along the east side of Pleasant Hill Road from Shirley Drive south to Moody Road. Work includes plant mix asphalt resurfacing, grading, storm drainage, concrete driveway construction, sidewalk construction, erosion, sediment, and pollution control plan and comprehensive monitoring program. All work will be in accordance with the Georgia Department of Transportation standard specifications and supplemental specifications (latest edition), the Georgia Manual for Erosion and Sediment Control (latest edition), and Houston County All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid. Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder.
