A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Reference Number 0000393211 Bid Intent Not Available The City of Battle Creek will accept sealed bids for the Kingman Museum Phase 1 Restoration and New Roof project. This project consists of, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of existing roof system. Work includes new membrane/tapered insulation installation and all flashing and parapet detailing. Infill existing roof drain and add new roof drains with stormwater tie-in as specified. Work includes infill of current roof hatch with installation of a new roof hatch including subsequent access/fall protection. As part of work, there will be partial limestone and masonry restoration included that coincides with re-roofing project as detailed in the construction documents, including but not limited to, partial demolition of existing chimney, baluster replacement, and frieze replacement in natural stone. Work includes removal of existing building mounted light fixtures and new ground mounted replacement fixtures. See list of alternates and construction documents for full scope of work. BID BOND: Each bid must be accompanied by a standard form bid bond, made payable to the City of Battle Creek, in an amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the base bid submitted. Failure of any accepted bidder to enter into a contract for the work will cause forfeit of the bid security. We do not accept certified checks in lieu of bid bond.
