Renovation of a mixed-use development in Owensboro, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

To replace the shingle roofs of the Daviess County Operations Center Administration Building and the Daviess County Animal Shelter located at 2620 Highway 81, Owensboro, KY 42301. Roof will be taken down to decking free of all staples, nails, and debris. Remove from Owner's property and legally dispose of all waste materials. Ice and water dam in valleys around roof penetrations and around all eaves of the building. Contractor is to ensure watertight building at the end of the workday and tarp roof in case of inclement weather while project is ongoing. If leaks occur, Contractor will repair at their expense. Any damage to landscaping will be replaced at the Contractor's expense. Replace all roof penetrations with Dektite rubber boot flashing or equivalent to man ufacturer's specification Remove existing drip edge and replace Gutters and downspouts to be replaced AJI color selections to be approved by the County. Two (2) mobile storage units will have the same shingle roof as Administration and Animal Shelter buildings. Special Note: Ensure no leaks where Administration Building meets metal Maintenance Garage. Contractor will maintain appropriate public safety throughout length of project. Full five (5) year labor and material warranty will be supplied by Contractor, submitted at the time of project completion in addition to the shingle warranty. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities in said bids. The right is reserved to award bids based on the best interest and/or what is most advantageous to the County. The County also reserves the right to consider as a part of the bid evaluation the stated warranty, stated delivery schedule and payment terms. Award will be made, according to the opinion of the Daviess County Fiscal Court, to the best evaluated bid. Where applicable, the Contractor must have a valid City of Owensboro or Daviess County Fiscal Court business license for the prosecution of work. The Contractor must provide proof of this license to the County either by attachment to bid submission or post award (for applicable Contracts). The Contractor must pay any Occupational Tax / Net Profit Tax resulting from business activity within Daviess County.
