The City of St. Augustine is seeking pricing for portable toilet rentals for City run special events. The City has a myriad of locations that it needs both portable toilets and handwashing options delivered to throughout the downtown core and Anastasia island shuttle stops. We would need pricing for both regular and handicap units as well as handwashing and hand sanitizing stations. The City would also like to obtain pricing on a maintenance and cleaning package for times when the units need to be out for several days. The unit numbers would vary based on the event needs and length. Some delivery or pick up days would be on weekend days and/or holidays, but the City does try to take that into consideration and plan accordingly. There are times when a combination of a few hundred units will be needed. The City of St. Augustine (City) is seeking companies to provide regular portable toilets, handicap portable toilets, hand washing stations and hand sanitizer stations. Currently, the City provides this service to the public during the Light It Up Night, Independence Day, and several other festivals and special events throughout the year. The toilets, handwashing stations, and hand sanitizer stations will be used throughout the City of St. Augustine, Florida 32084. The Vendor shall provide all equipment, labor, and materials to deliver, set up, pump-out, maintain and pick-up portable toilets, hand washing stations and hand sanitizer stations and shall adhere to the specific delivery and pick-up schedule as requested by the City. Specifically, on the day of July 4th only, the Vendor shall additionally maintain the regular and handicap toilets and the hand washing stations at 6:00 p.m., which shall include, but not limited to; cleaning the interior/ exterior as needed, re-stocking supplies, and other duties as needed to ensure the units are viable and presentable for public use. The City reserves the option to award based on individual pricing or cumulative pricing. The City reserves the option to award to the next lowest available Respondent in the event the successful Respondent fails to perform the work as specified by the City. The City reserves the option to award to multiple contractors. The Agreement will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible Respondent, being the Respondent with the lowest Total Bid Cost who demonstrates, in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation documents, a verifiable history of the skill, ability, integrity, and reliability necessary for the faithful performance of the Agreement (the "Successful Respondent"). The Agreement may be modified based on the City's acceptance of any alternatives listed in the bid that the City deems in its best interest. The City of St. Augustine reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts of bids, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request re-bids on the required materials or services. The City also reserves the right to award the contract to the Respondent whose bid is deemed by the City to most advance the public interest. If two (2) or more bids are equal in all respects, the Agreement will be awarded as follows: (1) to the Respondent that certifies compliance with Section 287.087, F.S., via the Drug-Free Workplace Form or two (2) by lot. The City reserves the option to award based on individual pricing or cumulative pricing. The City reserves the option to award to the next lowest available Respondent in the event the successful Respondent fails to perform the work as specified by the City. The City reserves the option to award to multiple contractors. The City reserves the right to award the Agreement to the next lowest available Respondent in the event the Successful Respondent fails to enter into the Agreement, or the Agreement with said Respondent is terminated within 90 days of the effective date. All Respondents will be notified of the City's intent to award or decision to award the Agreement. For the purpose of filing a bid protest under Section 120.57(3), F.S., the time period will commence as provided in "NOTICES AND SERVICES THEREOF."
