The purpose of this IFB is for a Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the removal of existing trees, signs, posts, and buried debris required for construction of the proposed improvements, and construction of a sheet pile seawall with concrete cap, a concrete vehicular beach access ramp, and other ancillary site improvements. The Project Site is along the unpaved right of way from Porpoise Point Drive to the beach in Vilano Beach, FL 32084. Bid Bond 5% All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Encouraged Not to Contact Any Member of the St. Johns County Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County. The Contractor shall receive NTP no earlier than 10/01/2025, however construction activities will not be allowed prior to 11/01/2025 due to Sea Turtle nesting season. Sea Turtle Nesting Season is from May 1 through October 31. If NTP is issued prior 11/01/2025, but not before 10/01/2025, the contractor may use that time to issue material submittals, procure materials, buy out subcontracts, and any other work that does not involve on-site construction activities.
