CDFA is looking for janitorial services in San Diego County. Written questions must be received by 12:00 PM PT July 28, 2025 Post Questions and Answers by 5:00 PM PT August 1, 2024 Questions are not allowed during the walk-through. Questions may be submitted in writing to the Contracts Unit email only at CDFA.Contracts@cdfa.ca.gov. (See Key Action Dates for deadline for written questions). Attendees arriving more than five (5) minutes late will not be allowed to attend. The term of this contract is September 1, 2025 or upon final Department of General Services/Office of Legal Services (DGS/OLS) approval, whichever is later, through June 30, 2026. The CDFA reserves the right to renew this agreement for an additional year, if needed, with the successful bidder at the end of the agreement term, provided funding to do so is appropriated for this purpose in subsequent budgets. Proposed renewals are assessed annually for approval by the California Department of General Services and CDFA according to program direction, funding, consistency of price and scope of work continuity. A. Restroom(s), including warehouse restroom: 1. Replenish all paper towels, bath tissue and seat cover dispensers. 2. Replenish all soap dispensers (Waxie brand dispenser). 3. Empty waste receptacles and replace liners. 4. Empty recycle receptacles and replace liners. a) Do not throw away plastic bottles and aluminum cans. Keep these items in the designated area in the warehouse demonstrated at walk through 5. Clean waste receptacles as needed. Sweep floor, mop and sanitize floor and remove all scuffmarks. 6. Wipe down restroom baseboards. 7. Use germicidal cleanser to scrub and disinfect the washbasin, faucet, toilet, toilet tank and toilet base and urinal. 8. Wipe clean and disinfect all handrails and mirrors, light switches and door handles. 9. Spot clean and remove fingerprints from doors, door jams, and walls. B. Kitchens (2) includes warehouse kitchen: 1. Use germicidal cleanser on sinks, faucets, countertops, switch plates and refrigerator/freezer door handles. 2. Kitchen sink, clean and sanitize sink and countertops. 3. Replenish paper towel and Waxie brand soap dispensers. 4. Empty waste receptacles and replace liners. 5. Empty recycle receptacles and replace liners. a) Do not throw away plastic bottles and aluminum cans. Keep these items in the designated area in the warehouse demonstrated at walk through. 6. Sweep floor. 7. Mop and sanitize floor; remove all scuffmarks. C. Hallways and Office(s) includes warehouse office and area in front of warehouse office: 1. Empty waste receptacles and replace liners. 2. Empty recycle receptacles and replace liners. a) Do not throw away plastic bottles and aluminum cans. Keep these items in the designated area in the warehouse demonstrated at walk through. 3. Vacuum all carpeted areas and spot clean carpet. 4. Vacuum all carpeted staircases and spot clean carpet. 5. Dust all vertical and horizontal office furniture and equipment. 6. Dust windowsills and blinds. 7. Clean and disinfect switch plates, door handles, and telephone equipment. 8. Spot clean walls, doors, and door jams. D. Exterior: 1. Sweep or vacuum if applicable, carpeted porches, entrance area and ramps. 2. Empty waste receptacles into trash bin located in backyard. 3. Empty recycle receptacles into recycle bin located in backyard, not including plastic bottles and aluminum cans. a) Do not throw away plastic bottles and aluminum cans. Keep these items in the designated area in the warehouse demonstrated at walk through.
