This Phase II project includes all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and incidentals necessary for the preparation, cleanup, demolition, and installation of landscape and irrigation improvements. Scope of work includes selective removal of existing landscape elements, preservation of designated features, installation of new potable water irrigation systems, planting of trees, shrubs, and groundcover, and placement of surface mulches, landscape boulders, root barriers, and soil amendments. A post-installation maintenance period is required. All work shall be performed in accordance with the plans dated, and the accompanying technical specifications: Section 32 84 00 - Irrigation (Potable Water) Section 32 90 00 - Landscaping The updated landscape will continue to serve as a public-facing low water use demonstration garden showcasing regionally appropriate, drought-tolerant plant materials. It is not anticipated that outside permitting or agency processing will be required; however, this will be confirmed during the bid review phase if conditions change. Following Board authorization, the District will issue a formal Notice to Proceed to the awarded contractor.
