The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Bliss, TX is issuing a construction solicitation W911SG-25-B-A028, in support of the United States Army Directorate of Public Works (DPW) located at Fort Bliss, Texas. General Information:The roof of Building 2011 needs a new roof, the building needs to remove the existing shingle roof system entirely down to the structural deck. The contractor considers 500 sf of damaged deck that will be demolished to expose the rafters. Replace only sections of roof decking that are too damaged for continued use. Sections of damaged roof decking visible from ground level shall be replaced in-kind. For damaged roof decking that cannot be seen from ground level, 3/4-inch plywood sheathing may be installed. If necessary, reinforce the existing rafters to be level and flat. Provide and install new asphalt shingle Owens-Corning Duration asphalt shingles, Procurement will be solicited as one hundred percent (100%) HUBZone. The solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The anticipated period of performance is 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed has been issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160 (Size Standard $19 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
