**As of October 17, 2025, the project was awarded to THE MATTHEWS GROUP INC., with an awarded amount of $6,518,693.26.** Arlington County will relocate several County branches to a portion of the 6th floor in the Bozman Government Center located at 2100 Clarendon Blvd. Approximately 14,360 square feet, or about half of the 6th floor, will be renovated in this project. The remainder of the floor will be occupied during construction. Question Deadline 08/08/2025 at 5:00 PM ET The scope of the construction will include both demolition and renovation of the space to provide the Situational Awareness and Intelligence Unit, the ESF, and associated conference and breakout rooms and spaces, as well as an office area. There is additional work in the garage, the radio room, the penthouse and the roof (the "Project"). The existing 24/7 Network Operation Center (NOC) will be demolished, and some of that IT infrastructure will be reused. A portion of the project including the Situational Awareness and Intelligence Unit (SAIU), the ESF, and the nearby support and conference rooms will need the ability to operate 24/7. These areas will be separated from the base building HVAC. A new AHU will replace the existing core (Landlord) unit and will be connected to a new rooftop dry cooler. There is a County owned & maintained generator which serves the NOC and will be replaced with a new one of the same size to serve the 24 hour spaces. The landlord's life safety generator will remain, and the fuel tank is being increased in size to extend its run time. There will be three Motorola antennas added to the roof.
