Tazwood Community Services, Inc. (TCSI) will be accepting Request for Proposals from HVAC, Plumbing, Architectural, and Refrigerators and/or Chest Freezers Contractors interested in participating in the Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program (IHWAP) period beginning October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026. TCSI IHWAP covers the Illinois counties of Tazewell, Woodford,McLean, Livingston, & Peoria. We anticipate weatherizing approximately 130-150 homes in our five-county area. New HVAC, Plumbing, Architectural, and Refrigerator and/or Chest Freezer Contractors are required to attend the meeting for their proposal to be considered.Existing Contractors must notify TCSI of their intent to remain an active contractor by August 11, 2025. Persons that arrive more than five minutes late, without prior notification, will not be allowed to attend the meeting, thus deferring their right to propose bid. Letters for pre-qualified contractors will be mailed and/or emailed by August 27, 2025. A Negotiated Bid meeting will be held on September 3, 2025, at 8:30 A.M. for HVAC. TCSI reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or part of a proposal which in its judgment will be in the best interest of the program and/or Agency.
