Description: The Project includes the following Work: Mechanical dredging of stream bottom upstream of existing gabion baskets, slope stabilization of ravine, construction of stabilized access to the ravine for future maintenance, and slope restoration work. A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held at the time and place indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. The anticipated substantial completion date is June 1, 2026 and final completion date is July 1, 2026. Additional Description: Instructions to Bidders No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
