Site work for a civil project in Wood Dale, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Project consists of the complete demolition of the existing Pro Shop building at The Preserve at Oak Meadows, including removal of foundations, pavement, curbing, and all associated man-made debris. The project also involves disconnection of the existing water service as well as site restoration. Deadline for Questions / Request for Information 08/08/2025 5:00 P.M. Via e-mail to: clamarca@dupageforest.org Consideration of the contract award will be made by the Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bid submittals, to waive informalities or technicalities in any Bid, and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner and the Public. A properly certified check, bond draft, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT OF DUPAGE COUNTY for not less than ten percent (10%) of the grand total bid shall be submitted with each bid. All Bidders must clear all contacts or site visits through Project Representative: Christopher La Marca Construction Project Manager, Engineering Department 3S580 Naperville Road Wheaton, IL 60189 (630) 399-7859 It is anticipated that the CONTRACTOR will begin Work Monday, November 3, 2025 and the project shall be substantially completed by Monday, December 1, 2025.The Contractor shall complete all items on the punch list by Monday, December 15, 2025, or within such time as may be allowed by extensions approved by the Owner.
