The contract covers the provision of chemical water treatment services for various HVAC systems, including TRANE chillers and EVASCO cooling towers, as well as closed-loop systems such as hot water and glycol loops. The contractor is responsible for delivering and storing chemicals in coordination with the Boiler/Chiller Plant Manager, following guidelines outlined in the PWS, particularly items 9 and 10. Monthly on-site service is expected for all systems, with seasonal startup and shutdown support required as needed, in accordance with manufacturer instructions and best practices. The contractor must also manage a corrosion coupon program, including providing coupons and holders, and conducting full analysis and reporting. Digital service reports are to be submitted via email or PDF, unless otherwise advised. Emergency support must be available within 24 to 48 hours for water quality or biological issues, with the contractor located within 100 miles of the site to ensure reasonable response times. Evaluation criteria and pricing structure, including whether to separate labor and materials or bundle them, are to be confirmed with the Contracting Officer. No estimate of annual service frequency or chemical usage volume is available. Do you know if you are feeding a Nitrite in the chiller loops I do not think so but I m unsure. 3. Do you feed the secondary chillers separate or are they on the same loop Not to my knowledge. 4. I noticed that you are feeding a dry chemical for your towers, are you opposed to feeding a liquid chemical instead No dry chemicals are fed into the towers.
