Sludge Removal and Land Application Special conditions included in the Bid Document shall take precedence over any general provisions hereinafter set forth. The City is not responsible for any information not in writing, regardless of its source. A bid bond often percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to the City of Alliance, will be required as part of the submittal as security that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into. Upon entering into contract, the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond in the amount of the bid, at which time the bid bond will be returned, or at the discretion of the bidder may be converted into part of the performance bond. Proposals must conform to all instructions and requirements set forth in the specifications and must be accompanied by all required documents and forms set forth in the specifications. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid considered lowest and best for the City of Alliance. Should a successful bidder be unable to provide the bid item, the City reserves the right to recover the difference in bid price between that bidder's bid and the next lowest bidder, as well as to recover any other costs to the City resulting from the failure to deliver.
