The Alliance City Board of Health is seeking bids to provide asbestos testing for 7 residential structures to be demolished. These surveys are part of a time sensitive demolition program, and no one should submit a quote who is not fully prepared to meet the time requirements set forth. SCOPE & SERVICE: The Contractor shall perform all of the services and furnish all the materials necessary to complete an asbestos survey and provide a report as required by and in compliance with Ohio Administrative Code and all other applicable state and federal statutes. All bidders are to provide a base bid which is their price to perform the survey, which includes up to twenty samples. Bidders must also furnish unit pricing for additional sampling over the twenty included with the base, and for point counts as required. The contractor is required to have prior approval for additional sampling or for point counts. The City will provide a notice to proceed to the Contractor in writing (by email, fax or mail). The Contractor will be expected to begin actual performance within five (5) calendar days from issuance of a notice to proceed.
