Since the curb & gutter project is followed by Mill & Overlay project, the schedule for this project is very critical. The intent of this project is to remove & replace the Combined Curb & Gutter (Type Varies) without damaging the existing adjacent and/or abutting sidewalks or drive approaches. Traffic Control 1 LS The specific area for limits of the work will be marked, by City of Topeka staff prior to construction. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the project quantities and acknowledges these additions/deletions may increase or decrease project quantities and Contractor compensation based on the unit prices bid. There will be no increase or decrease in unit prices associated with any addition/deletion in quantity The Engineering Division will issue a Start Work Order after contract execution by the city. COMBINED CURB & GUTTER, (modified) and TYPE (varies), shall be field measured to the nearest 0.1 foot and paid at the unit price bid per nearest LINEAR FOOT (LF). The unit price bid shall be full compensation for all labor, equipment, materials, tools and incidentals needed to complete the work as specified for COMBINED CURB & GUTTER, (modified) and TYPE (varies).
