1. Milling and Repaving Existing Blacktop (Yellow Area) Area: Approximately 16,500 sq ft (measurements are approximate and must be field verified). Mill the existing asphalt surface to suitable depth for bonding. Clean and prepare milled surface. Apply tack coat as needed. Install new asphalt surface (minimum 1.5-2" compacted thickness). Ensure smooth transitions to adjacent surfaces. Work carefully around two (2) existing basketball hoops. 2. New Blacktop Installation (Red Area) Area: Approximately 1,200 sq ft (measurements are approximate and must be field verified). Excavate unsuitable material to proper subbase depth. Install and compact subbase aggregate (min. 4" thickness). Install and compact base course asphalt (min. 2" compacted thickness). Install and compact top course asphalt (min. 1.5-2" compacted thickness). Ensure proper grading and drainage. 3. Pavement Markings Repaint basketball court lines only. No other markings required. 4. Site Protection and Cleanup Protect adjacent structures and surfaces. Remove debris and millings. Leave site clean and safe. Anticipated Award: August 12, 2025. All work must be completed between August 28 and September 2, 2025, unless alternate arrangements are clearly stated in the bid submission and approved in writing by the District.
