Reference Number 0000396593 Bid Intent Not Available FY26-0905 Orangeburg County Agricultural Building Acoustical Ceiling Demolition and Replacement Project (Rebid) General Requirements: The work consists of providing all labor, materials, disposal and equipment as required for the turnkey demolition of existing ceiling systems and installation of new ceiling grid and ceiling tile. Scope: Furnish the necessary supervision, labor, tools, equipment and materials to complete the required demo of existing ceiling grid and installation of new ceiling grid and tile on the 1st and 2nd floor. Contractor will be responsible for permits, fees, removal, transport, and disposal required for a turnkey project. Cover and protect furnishings, flooring and office equipment in the work areas. Coordinate all work with ceiling grid installer, mechanical contractor and owner. Light fixtures will need to be removed and temporarily suspended approx. 12" above existing ceiling grid for reuse and placement in new grid system. Remove and dispose of existing ceiling grid and tile. Existing wall track to remain. Install new ceiling grid system and tile. New ceiling system must meet current ANSI and IBC requirements. Remove all trash and debris associated with this work. Restore disturbed areas. Provide all required permits and inspections. Applicable licensure with South Carolina.
