Request for Proposal - FY26-0808 Page 5 Roof edge will need to be flush with the face of the block wall. Some demo will be required of the lightweight concrete and decking to wall face. The roof edge will need to be cut back approximately 3.5" for the required wood blocking system. Contractor must verify these measurements. Install new wood blocking system where required. This system must be the same height as the existing roof. Remove tar and gravel from the roof edge at a minimum of 12" wide. Install new roof piles. A new gutter will need to be installed and must match existing. The new drip edge will need to be installed at the edge of the gutter using manufacturer recommended adhesion methods. Install the cap sheet over the new drip edge. Install new gutter downspouts. Brick and block walls must remain perpendicular to roof line and the face of the block wall. Install the wood blocking and coping at the top each wall. Repair masonry as outlined in Exhibit " A" Repair Fascia as outlined in Exhibit "A" Follow Architectural Keynotes and General notes outlined in Exhibit "A" 4.
