The contract work for this project shall consist of the removal (salvage) of the tile roofing material, the removal and disposal of the underlayment, the removal/disposal and replacement of any damaged sheathing, the installation of a new 30# underlayment, the removal and replacement of any damaged or warn out flashing, and the reinstallation of the existing salvaged tile roofing (replace any damaged tiles with new ones at the Norton Younglove Senior Center. There will be a Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) assessment for each calendar day that work remains incomplete beyond the time stated in the Proposal Form. Refer to the Proposal Form for specific details. The City of Calimesa reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to award each item separately, and/or waive any informality on any bid. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time set for the opening thereof. Interpretation of Plans and Documents If any person contemplates submission of a bid for the proposed contract and is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the services to be performed, they may submit a written request for an interpretation or correction thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation or correction of the proposed documents shall be made only by addendum duly issued and copy of such addendum will be mailed or delivered to be delivered to each person receiving a set of such documents. The Director will not be responsible for any other explanation or interpretations of the proposed documents.
