Period of contract: one-time project Regardless of any notification of Award to any Bidder, all Bids are potentially acceptable by the City for ninety (90) calendar days from the Opening. Nothing in this paragraph is to be considered a waiver of the City's rights against a Bidder who fails to execute a Contract after receiving notification of an Award. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Guarantee in the form a cashier's check or money order, in an amount not exceeding five (5) percent of the Bid total, by a bond with corporate surety in an amount not exceeding five (5) percent of the Bid total, or by an irrevocable letter of credit issued by a bank or other financial institution duly recognized and authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Minimal demolition and construction to existing site elements. Project is Multiple Primes: Electrical, and Mechanical (HVAC) and respective subcontractors to those primes. 2. All City-issued permits will have fees waived. 3. Electrical Prime Contractor: a. The scope of work includes: salvage/re-use of selected existing light fixtures; selective demolition of existing interior building light fixtures and devices; installation of interior lighting fixtures and devices in corridors, common areas, and offices; installation of security cameras, equipment required to complete interior scope of work; and all as indicated in the Construction Documents. All associated fees for 3rd-party inspections required to complete the scope of work described above are to be included in bid pricing. General demolition and construction required to conduct this scope is a part of this contract including cutting and patching ceilings floors roofs and the construction of shafts and chases. Coordinate with all trades. b. The fire alarm scope of work includes relocation of equipment/devices and wiring to the existing Fire Alarm Panel; adding additional strobes, horns and pull stations as necessary to satisfy current code and local ordinances; and all as indicated in the Construction Documents. c.
