Alexander Inc. in the amount of $1,532,819.64 r the respective project as follows: Bid #M25-30 Milling & Resurfacing Berkshire Valley Road (C.R. 699) Bid #M25-30 Milling & Resurfacing, Berkshire Valley Road (C.R. 699) in the Township of Jefferson for the Morris County Department of Public Works, Division of Engineering & Transportation consisting of, but not limited to, 59,555 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less, 7503 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 2" Thick, 1,499 L.F. 9"x20" Concrete Vertical Curb, 370 L.F. Asphalt Curb, 1,748 L.F. Beam Guide Rail, 8 Unit Tangent Beam Guide Rail Terminal, 12 Unit Beam Guide Rail Anchorage, 150 LF Beam Guide Rail, Bridge, 2 Unit Wbeam Terminal Connector, 8 Unit Vertical Transition, 11,194 LF Rumble Strip, 11,194 LF Fog Seal Strip, Reconstructed & Reset Inlets, Warning & Regulatory Signs, in addition to other miscellaneous items. Question Acceptance Deadline 07/30/2025 12:00 AM EDT made payable to "County of Morris", with Bid Number and Name in memo section of check. The County of Morris shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, and the Bid number and title spelled out on the outermost packaging, addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid, payable to the County of Morris, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder, they will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds and insurance as required by the County and the Division of Risk Management. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27-1 et seq. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as specified in the Contract Documents. EACH BID MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A CONSENT OF SURETY which states that the surety company will provide the Bidder with the performance bond specified in the Contract Documents in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract. Bids are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20. 7, and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect Bidder's consideration for award. The Contractor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions, or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment, per N.J.A.C. 17:44-2.2. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least ten (10) business days (Saturday, Sunday and holidays excluded), prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid for goods and services Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent at no later than the submission deadline ("Bid Opening"), as stated in the Legal Notice to Bidders, and at such time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
