Renovation of a multi-residential development in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

A. The Project, of which the Work of this Contract is a part, is titled Carbon County Housing Authority, Roofs Renovations - 2024 CGP. B. The Work listed below is a general overview and is not intended to represent all work to be included in these Contracts. The "Work" of these Contracts shall consist of the following Bids: C. Work consists of the following items, but is not limited to PA Roof Replacement contractors must also establish a 6.9% goal for female participation and a 0.6% goal for minority participation in the aggregate on site construction work force for contracts and subcontracts in excess of $10,000, as per the United States Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid in accordance with the instruction to bidders. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bonding Companies must be listed in the US Treasury Circular 570. The Labor Standards and Anti-Kickback regulations (29 CFR, Part 3) issued by the Secretary of Labor are included in the contract documents of this project and govern all work under the contracts. In compliance with Executive Order 11625 and 12138, the successful bidder must utilize to the greatest extent feasible, minority and/or women-owned businesses located in the municipality, county or general trade areas. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project; that a mandatory ration of apprentices and trainees to journeymen is required in each craft and the Contractor (and any subcontractors) is obliged to make a "diligent effort" to achieve these ratios; and that, to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment be given to lower income of the project area businesses located in or owned in substantial part by project area residents. Question Deadline 08/04/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Any questions pertaining to the bid documents must be submitted via online. Answers to the questions will be posted online on online by Thursday, August 7th 2025 before 5:00 pm. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the owner for a period not to exceed thirty-five (35) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding of the contract.
