This solicitation is being conducted specifically to identify the most appropriately qualified firm to provide consulting services as Commissioning Agents for JOHN WINTHROP ELEMENTARY SCHOOL RENOVATION project through issuance of this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ"), and then to request price proposals. Bridgeport, the most populous city in Connecticut and the fifth-most populous in New England, is situated in eastern Fairfield County at the mouth of the Pequonnock River on Long Island Sound. With a population of 148,654 in 2020, it is 60 miles from Manhattan and 40 miles from The Bronx, forming part of the New York metropolitan area. The initial term for the contract will be one (1) year Written acknowledgement from vendor will be required he scope of work shall include but not limited to commissioning a LEED silver project: Coordinate commissioning requirements with the Design Team, Construction Manager and Owner. Begin developing Owner's Project Requirements Develop initial Commissioning Plan. Perform commissioning-focused design review for the project design. Develop full commissioning Specifications to be coordinated with all the MEP engineers and Architects. This is to be included in the final design documentations at each phase. Update Commissioning Plan Develop commissioning requirements for the specification Participate in Value Engineering activities if required.
