Renovation of a municipal facility in Kunkletown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

**As of September 11, 2025, the project was awarded to Wind Gap Electric but the awarded amount is not available.** All work under the project is required to be completed within ninety (90) days of the Township's Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of $100.00 per day will be assessed for each day of unexcused delay after the deadline. Each proposal must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the Eldred Township in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bidder's maximum proposal price, and in the form of a certified check or bank check or a bid bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and listed on the U.S. Treasury's Circular 570. Proposals will not be accepted after the deadline. All Bids must be received at the Township offices before the deadline. Proposals may be held by the Eldred Township for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of proposals for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Project. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price, in such form as meets the approval of the Township and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are listed on the U.S. Treasury's Circular 570 and authorized to perform services in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Eldred Township Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any and all any immaterial omissions, errors, defects, irregularities or informalities in any bid, or to require a cure, and furthermore to award the contract in such a manner as may appear to be in the best interest of the Eldred Township Supervisors. All Bids must be submitted on forms included in the Bidding Documents. Bidders should not (1) include additional terms and conditions with their proposal, or (2) exclude terms and conditions from the scope of work in the Bid Specifications. Completed bids shall be contained in a sealed envelope addressed to the Township Secretary, with a notation as to the title of project being bid. If a contract is awarded, it will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by the Eldred Township Board of Supervisors. The project is being funded through a Local Share Account grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority, received through a Cooperation and Funding Procedures Agreement between Eldred Township and the Monroe County Industrial Development Authority. Requirements of the grant contracts shall be applicable to the successful bidder, and deemed incorporated into any contract awarded by the Township for the project. All persons desiring to receive Bid Documents must register with the Township Secretary at the time Bid Documents are requested.
