Project Description: Erection of Pre-Engineered Steel Building sealed proposals for the erection of a pre-engineered steel building at the Lebanon Department of Public Works (DPW) Complex. Scope of Work Highlights: Erection of pre-engineered steel building Davis Bacon Wage Scale applies; monthly wage certifications required Project is tax-exempt; building permit fees waived (permit application still required) Contractor must hold a current CT Department of Consumer Protection license Scope of Work: Building Permit fees are not applicable to this Project. Awarded Firm is still required to apply for Permit. Project is Tax Exempt and Davis Bacon Act Wage Scale is included. Bidder shall have a current License from the State of CT Dept. of Consumer Protection. Insurance Certificate (Town of Lebanon Certificate Holder) shall be submitted with Bid. a. Pre-engineered metal building systems for Lebanon DPW Storage and Wash Bayas specified and indicated on the drawings including, but not limited to primary and secondary structural steel framing members, connection bolts, insulated wall and roof panels, framed and trimmed openings, gutters and downspouts, flashings, sealants, and other miscellaneous items and accessories as specified herein for a complete, weather tight, and insulated building envelope. 2. Secondary framing members consisting of purlins, girts, eave struts, flange braces and sag angles as required by the design. 3. Insulated roof and wall systems shall consist of preformed, insulated steel panels, trim, and accessories as required for a complete and weathertight installation. 4. Bracing to be cable "X" type in roof and walls, or equal. As of August 13, 2025, an award has not been announced. The announcement is expected in approximately two weeks.
