sealed bids will be received by the Adams County Board of Supervisors for the purchase, from the lowest and best bidder, for furnishing general supplies, construction materials and contract services, as needed in Adams County for a six (6) month period starting October 1,2025 and ending March 31, 2026. o Laydown Asphalt o Patching o Purchase ofAsphalt o Concrete o Culverts All proposals MUST be submitted on bid form and in correct measurements to be considered. Any quantities specified on any list of supplies are approximate only as a basis for submitting of proposals. Bid prices are to be firm and not subject to change during the period specified above. Bids submitted with qualifications or exceptions will not be considered. The Adams County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waiver informalities and to reject any and all bids. This bid is to haul and lay down Hot Mix Asphalt with a asphalt spreader and compactors on streets as designed from time to time in Adams County. All mobilization, maintenance of traffic, barricades, flagmen, and other traffic management devices and labor shall be provided. Streets that have a shoulder of built of material along edge of surface shall be cleaned back by a motor grader or other method. The entire surface to be laid shall be cleaned by sweeping, blowing, or other methods until all dust, mud, clay, grass, lumps, and foreign material is removed. Asphalt tack shall be applied before spreading asphalt, cost absorbed. Spreader shall be constructed so that they can be accurately gauged and set to uniformly distribute the asphalt. A steel- wheel roller shall be used and shall be self-propelled and shall be rated at 5 to 8 tons. A Pneumatic roller shall be used and shall be self-propelled with the front and rear tires not tracking each other. Upon completion of paving all areas shall be thoroughly cleaned.
