A. The Work of the Contract consists of 1. This work to be performed consists of, but not limited to the following a. Demolition 1. The removal and proper disposal of existing plumbing fixtures. Plumbing contractor to properly cut and cap water and waste lines. 2. The removal and proper disposal of existing ceramic tile tub surround, built-in tub seat, existing flooring, existing bathroom accessories and existing wood base. 3. The removal and proper disposal of surface mounted light fixtures, outlets and switches as indicated on drawings. Electrical contractor to properly disconnect and cap for safe removal of existing light. b. Proposed 1. Furnish and install new energy efficient lighting and plumbing fixtures per the drawings and specifications. 2. Furnish and install new safety flooring throughout the bathroom including the new roll-in shower. 3. Furnish and install new bathroom accessories per the drawings and specifications. 2. Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated not to be done. 3. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 4. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities.
