BACKGROUND: The 126ARW helping agencies require a work environment that meets the needs of each agency, to include Equal Opportunity (EO), Chaplains, Airman & Family Readiness (A&FR), and Director of Psychological Health (DPH), and the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC). Several of these members require specific facility requirements, to include a dedicated entrance, soundproofing and doors that allow for visual contact. Building 5046 has been identified to house the new offices and requires a repair project to modify the building to accommodate these members and their facility space requirements. b. OBJECTIVES: The objective of this project is to provide usable office space for all members of the future 126ARW resilience center, located in Bldg 5048. c. PROJECT LOCATION: All work will be at the 126th Air Refueling Wing, Building 5046, Scott AFB, Illinois. This Simplified Acquisition solicitation is being issued using FAR 13 procedures. Responses can use the attached SF 1442 as a quote sheet, but if award is contemplated the Contracting Officer will generate a new version with all updates to the solicitation and clauses. PROJECT TITLE: REPAIR, 126ARW RESILENCE REPAIR PROJECT LOCATION: SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE The 126th Base Contracting Office is soliciting this Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a single Firm Fixed Price Contract. This project is solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS is 236220, the small business size standard is $45 Million. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition, contract award will not be made until funds become available. Award will be made to the offeror who represents the best value to the Government as outlined in accordance with the criteria set forth within the solicitation. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
