Summary The City of Coffman Cove is currently accepting proposals to repair areas of Sea Otter Drive and Loggers Lane in the City of Coffman Cove. It is the City's intent to properly maintain and fix these areas Sea Otter Drive and Loggers Lane The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from interested parties. All proposals will be evaluated based on criteria listed herein. Project Description and Scope The City of Coffman Cove is seeking a General Contractor to repair Sea Otter Drive and Loggers Lane. The General Contractor must be licensed to perform commercial work in the State of Alaska and must submit proof of current licensing, bonding and insurance with their proposal. Any equipment or tools needed to complete the work must be provided by the Contractor and be included in the total price of the proposal. Sea Otter Drive: 1. Saw cut and remove approximately 60 ft. of asphalt roadway on as per marked. 2. Haul to City Waste Area 3. Remove any organics encounter in the top two ft of fill. 4. Replace and compact fill. 5. Add four inches of city D1 on top of fill. 6. Blade and compact. Loggers Lane: 1. Remove six inches of fill from repair area. 2. Compact subgrade. 3. Pour six inches of nylon reinforced concrete in area approximately 12 ft x 20 ft. 4. Finish and barricade. 5. Remove the barricades after seven days.
