The Housing Authority of the City of Perth Amboy (Authority) requests proposals from qualified elevator maintenance and repair companies to perform elevator maintenance and "as-needed" repair services at two housing projects in Perth Amboy, New Jersey (3 elevators total). One elevator is located in Stack Apartments at 333 Rector Street in Perth Amboy, NJ and two elevators in Hansen Apartments located at 415 Fayette Street in Perth Amboy, NJ. Technical specifications are located herein. The Authority is soliciting a monthly flat rate to perform monthly maintenance on all three elevators and an hourly rate plus a percentage mark-up on materials for all work not included in monthly maintenance. The Authority is also soliciting a flat rate to perform load test(s), if necessary, on each elevator. Contractors must have a minimum of 3 years' experience and be registered with the State of NJ as a Public Works Contractor. The contract shall be for a two-year term, renewable at the sole option of the Authority for two additional one year periods or one additional two-year period.
