The project is expected to be awarded on September 2025.** 2025 Roadway Improvement Program Phase 4, Barry Avenue, Clark Avenue, Elm Street The scope of Work contemplated for the above-named project includes removal and replacement of damaged concrete curb and gutter, replacing limited sections of sidewalk, installation of handicap accessible curb ramps where applicable, resetting and/or repair of existing drainage structures, milling of the existing pavement surface, installation of pavement base course or base course repairs as needed as determined by visual inspection of the milled pavement surface and a 2-inch pavement surface course overlay, as well as all other work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents for several roads throughout the City (Barry Avenue, Clark Avenue, and Elm Street as the base bid and Bud Court as an Alternate). All Work on this Contract shall be completed within ninety (90) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. The amount of the bid security shall be ten percent (10%) of the total bid, but shall not exceed $20,000.00 The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to reject all bids if deemed in the best interest of the City of Perth Amboy to do so and his actions are subject to the approval of the Mayor and Council of the City of Perth Amboy.
