A Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded for the Roseburg VA Healthcare System to provide Kitchen Hood Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance Services. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the service. These service providers will be accountable solely to the contractor, who in turn is responsible to the Government. The Roseburg VA Healthcare System operates six Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Hoods: five in the Main Kitchen in Building #71 and one in the Veterans Canteen Service Kitchen. The scope of work includes performing semi-annual and annual inspection, testing, and maintenance of the kitchen ventilation hoods. The vendor will also provide two 5-gallon pails of G510EF Cleaning Agent for the Gaylord Washdown system hoods. The contractor will provide all necessary labor and materials to inspect, test, and maintain the kitchen hood extinguishing systems located in Building #71 at the Roseburg VA Healthcare System. Inspections will be conducted in accordance with the latest edition of NFPA 17A and NFPA 96, as well as the manufacturers recommendations. The work will be performed in a manner that ensures serviceability and prevents deterioration in value or effectiveness. Location: 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd., Roseburg OR. 97471.
