Demolition, site work and addition to a pre-engineered storage facility in Greenwood, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,100-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The project entails a 30 foot by 70 foot Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Addition to the existing Greenwood Water Department Maintenance Building. Building Addition to consist of additional Maintenance Shop, Storage Space, and Employee Shower, generally as shown on the Construction Drawings. Each bid will be based on single lump sum and will incorporate all required work. Proposals shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond made payable to the City of Greenwood, Arkansas in the amount of not less than 5% of the base bid proposal submitted as a guarantee that the Contractor will enter into a written contract, and will furnish the required bonds, should the award be made to the bidder. LICENSE All Bidders must be licensed in the State of Arkansas under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. Any or all bids may be rejected if there is a sound documented reason. No Federal funding will be applied to this project. Bidders are advised that the Davis-Bacon Federal Wage Rates for Sebastian County will not apply to this project.
