Project Overview The Greenwood School District is requesting sealed bids from qualified audio/visual contractors for the removal and replacement of the existing sound system at H. B. Stewart Arena, located in Greenwood, Arkansas. The project involves the safe removal of all existing sound equipment and the installation of a modern, high-quality sound system designed for athletic, public speaking, and event use. Scope of Work The contractor will be responsible for: Site evaluation. Complete removal and disposal of existing audio equipment (including speakers, amplifiers, processors, cabling, and control systems). Responsible for insuring that no damage to hardwood floor happens during installation. Design and installation of a new, high-performance sound system with: o Clear audio coverage throughout the arena. o High speech intelligibility and dynamic range for music playback. Integration with existing AV or scoreboard systems (if applicable). Durable equipment suitable for large, multi-purpose indoor venues. All associated wiring, mounts, conduits, racks, and hardware. System tuning, testing, and optimization for performance. End-user training for staff and coaches. As-built documentation and system schematics.
