Renovation of a medical facility in Kaplan, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16,510-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility.
Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital project will consist of the following: Construction of a new 1-story 16,510 square foot Ochsner Health Center B Kaplan medical office building (MOW) near the corner of Monceaux Avenue and 9. 7th Street. Primary elements of the project include but are not limited to public lobby/waiting areas6 clinic exam rooms/treatment spaces and associated staff workspaces6 patient and staff access and circulation pathways. Exterior site improvements include a covered drop off, public surface parking lot, staff covered parking, a dumpster enclosure, and a rear service drive. Once the new Ochsner Health Center B Kaplan MOW is complete, the contractor will demolish the existing Medical Office Building and associated parking lot located at 802N. Monceaux Avenue. The existing building is approximately 6,075 square feet, and there are no known hazardous materials within the building.
