Reference Number 0000299750 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/08/13 12:00:00 PM CDT Purpose and Scope of Work The purpose of the RFP is to obtain a cost to perform flushing, cleaning, and camering of gravity sewer lines within the Town of Niverville. The Town would like the work to commence either the week of September 8th or September 15th, 2025 (please specify). Deliverables / Specifications Provide a unit price (per meter) to perform the flushing and cleaning of approximately 8,544 meters of gravity sewer mains (including manholes) within the Town of Niverville as shown in blue and orange on the attached sewer cleaning map. Ensure all manholes are vacuumed clean of all debris once the pull has been completed. If camera-ing is required: The CCTV inspection shall be done by personnel skilled and qualified in the use of the television inspection equipment. All televising equipment shall be in the most current video format. The Contractor shall supply the videos (if applicable) and summary report electronically on a USB stick. The section to be inspected shall not be broken down into units smaller than the distance between manholes or other appropriate locations where the equipment may be installed or removed. The sewer shall be cleaned and allowed to drain before the television inspection is done. The sewer main to manhole joint shall be reviewed at both ends of the pipe and every sewer service tee shall be reviewed at each joint. Any unusual debris, exposed pipe gasket, or debris in the joint, over butt joint, pipe cracks, excess curvature, excess deflection at any joint, any repair couplers, and any other unusual occurrence in the pipe shall be thoroughly reviewed. CCTV inspection shall be carried out at a speed to provide sufficient image quality, clear and free of glare, such that the above properties can be properly reviewed. Provide a per-meter cost to cut and remove any grease (if required). Provide a per-meter cost to do CTTV (if required). Water can be used from the Town Operations building fill station during office hours, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, as needed. Please follow standard procedure by going to the office to have the usage tracked for the Town's records. The Town will not charge the Contractor for water used for the project.
