Site work for a road / highway in Niverville, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The purpose of the RFP is to obtain a cost to pour two (2) pads for mailboxes in the new development Fifth Avenue West within the Town of Niverville. Installation of two concrete pads meeting the attached Canada Post drawings (Appendix 'B') and specifications with the following additional clarifications. Excavate the necessary area to install the base and forms Supply and install base, forms, and concrete as per Appendix 'B' O Excavated material will stay onsite The expectation is that both pads will be poured no later than November 15th, 2024 Base temperatures must be 0°C or higher before pouring with no snow or ice on the base Ambient air temperatures of less than 5°C during the pouring and the curing period (7 days or less as determined by the Town which will depend on the type of concrete used) will require that cold weather measures be taken Cold weather measures shall include hoarding the concrete and other means as necessary to maintain an internal concrete temperature of 10°C or higher during the curing period. Pads shall each be 3.2m deep and 5.8m wide Pads shall be dowelled into existing curb 6"-12" deep with 15M green epoxy dowels 2' on center and epoxied into place Pad location and height shall be set by the Town Question Acceptance Deadline: 2024/10/28 12:00:00 PM CDT The expectation is that both pads will be poured no later than November 15th, 2024 Anticipated Award Date is November 5, 2024 Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com .
