Description: The project includes the following work on the 500,000-gallon ground storage reservoir constructed by Chicago Bridge & Iron Company in 1970. The Project includes the following work: 1. Replacement of the entire roof with a new fully welded, steel roof structure. 2. Cleaning, sandblasting, and painting all interior and exterior surfaces. Full containment is mandatory. 3. Miscellaneous structure modifications and surface repairs. 4. Reconditioning the roof aeration unit. The Reservoir is currently out-of-service. Roof replacement to start as soon as possible after anticipated Council award on September 2, 2025. Blasting and painting the Reservoir shall be performed in late summer/fall of 2026. Anticipated start date for blasting and painting is September 8, 2026. Additional Description: The approximate dimensions are as follows; diameter of 60-feet, high-water level 22-feet, low-water level at reservoir bottom, and overall height of 24-feet.
